Health tracking for chronic illness

Bloom in the desert.

A quieter way to keep track of a complicated health journey.

For the days you can track everything, and the days you can't.

An open rosette of the rose of Jericho, its feathery green fronds spread wide from a warm brown centre.

One journal

One place for what you're already carrying.

Symptoms, food and reactions, medications and supplements, labs, appointments, cycle health, rest, prayer, notes. You are already keeping track of all of it — in your head, on paper, across half a dozen apps. Rose of Jericho keeps it in one quiet place.

Symptoms

What you felt, when, and how strongly.

Foods and reactions

What you ate and what followed.

Medications and supplements

Doses taken and doses skipped.

Labs and vitals

Values you enter yourself, kept together.

Measurements

Weight, temperature, and anything you count.

Water, sun, and movement

The small daily rhythms.

Rest

Sleep and the hours you spent recovering.

Prayer and devotional habits

Optional, and kept apart from clinical notes.

Philosophy

The rose of Jericho is a resurrection plant. In drought it draws its fronds inward, curls into a dry brown ball, and waits. It does not bloom. It does not grow. It holds what it has, and it loses nothing.

Stage one, resting: the plant curled tightly inward into a dry tan and brown ball.
Resting
Stage two, waking: fronds standing upright, half tan and half green.
Waking
Stage three, greening: an open radial rosette of green fronds around a brown centre.
Greening
Stage four, bloom: the open green rosette carrying small pale blossoms.
Bloom

Then it is watered. The fronds unfold, the plant greens from the centre outward, and the small pale blossoms return. Nothing had to be rebuilt, because nothing was lost.

No streaks

Your progress is not erased by rest.

Growth is never lost

What you have recorded stays recorded. Progress does not roll back.

Untracked days are neutral

A day with no entry is a day with no entry. It is not a failure and it is not counted against you.

Returning is reviving

Come back after a week or after a year. You continue from where you were, not from zero.

Built for health that doesn't move in a straight line.

Most health apps assume one condition, one routine, and a body that behaves. Rose of Jericho assumes overlapping symptoms, medication and supplement schedules that change, food reactions you are still figuring out, labs you are expected to remember, cycles that do not follow the textbook, and days when brain fog wins. On those days, logging one thing still counts. So does logging nothing.

When an appointment comes, the app can gather what you've recorded into a clear summary to bring with you — your history, in your hands, ready to share with someone qualified to help.

Faith

To all who mourn in Israel, he will give a crown of beauty for ashes, a joyous blessing instead of mourning, festive praise instead of despair.

Isaiah 61:3

Rose of Jericho includes a daily anchor verse, written prayers, and encouragement — all of them optional and all of them free. Spiritual content never appears on clinical tracking screens, and every faith feature can be turned off.

Understand more. Fear less.

Alongside your journal, Rose of Jericho is building a library of calm, plain-language notes about foods, ingredients, supplements, and supportive therapies — enough to help you understand what you are already encountering and ask better questions. No fear, no pressure, no hundred new rules. Education, not medical advice.

Trust

Your data is yours.

  • It records what you tell it, and nothing else.
  • It does not diagnose, score, or interpret your entries.
  • No ads. No analytics. Nothing sold to anyone.
  • Your records are yours to export or delete, always.

This app does not diagnose, treat, or replace medical care. Talk to a qualified health professional about your health.

I have lived with rare, complex, chronic illness for half my life. I built this because I needed it.
