Your journal should belong to you.
This page explains, in ordinary language, what Rose of Jericho stores, why, and what will never be done with it. The formal version is the Privacy Policy — this is the promise behind it.
What the app stores.
Everything in your journal is something you chose to enter: symptoms, foods and reactions, medications and supplements, labs and vitals, measurements, appointments, cycle and pregnancy records, prayers and devotional entries, goals, habits, and notes. Alongside that, the app keeps your email address so you can sign in, your settings, and — if you subscribe — whether your subscription is active. That is the whole list.
What is never collected.
Rose of Jericho contains no analytics software, no advertising software, and no crash-reporting or telemetry service. It does not watch how you use it.
- No usage tracking or analytics.
- No ads, and no advertising identifiers.
- No location data.
- No access to your contacts, photos, or calendar.
- No connection to Apple Health or Google Fit.
The most personal things.
Two kinds of records in this app are recognized in law as sensitive, and they deserve the plainest possible sentence each. Your prayers, declarations, and devotional entries are never sold, never shared with advertisers, never used to profile you, and never used to train machine-learning models. Your cycle and pregnancy records are treated exactly the same way. They exist for one purpose — so that you can see them — and they are deleted with everything else when your account is deleted.
Where your information lives.
Your records are stored in a hosted database in the United States, encrypted in transit and at rest. Every table holding your information is protected by row-level security — a rule enforced by the database itself, not a policy promise — so your records can only be read and written by your own signed-in account.
Who else is involved.
As few companies as possible, and the list is complete: Supabase hosts the database and sign-in, and processes your information only on our instructions. Google confirms your identity if you choose to sign in with Google — it learns that you signed in, and nothing you record. RevenueCat manages subscription status and receives purchase history only, never anything from your journal. Reminders are scheduled on your own device; their content is not sent to any notification service. If this list ever changes, the Privacy Policy changes first, and you will be told.
Taking it with you — or taking it back.
Your records are yours. Write to us and we will send you a complete copy of your information in a machine-readable file. And if you want to leave, your account and everything in it can be deleted permanently — the deletion cascades through the entire database, and it cannot be undone. When the app launches, these controls will also live directly in Settings.
Requests go to [email protected] and are honored within thirty days, usually much faster.
One more promise.
Rose of Jericho records what you tell it and shows it back to you. It does not diagnose, score, or interpret your entries, and it is not a substitute for medical care. What you write in it is between you, your own record, and whoever you personally choose to show.
